U11 Pumas Dominate in win

The Pumas go in to the last game of the season having won 4 of the last 5 games. This latest victory saw the Pumas go behind to a controversial early goal. This only galvanised the team and from there they never looked back. Joey equalised with a predatory goal in the 6 year yard box before Oli swept home a left footed goal, his 10th goal of the season, to put the Pumas in the ascendency. The Pumas pushed hard for the rest of the half to extend their lead but couldnt find the end product. Thomas then made a fantastic save to keep the score 2-1 at half time.

With Lewis, Phoenix, Otis and Ewan maintaining a solid defence line the opposition didnt threaten the goal. This allowed Ethan, Joey, Oli, Jack and Henry to lead the attack and extend the score line. A lovely move down the left saw Joey calmly fire the ball into the corner for his 10th goal of the season, before Henry made sure of the victory with a nicely taken strike.
