End of Season Awards: U12 Tigers

Here are some words from Coach Branchflower after a promotion and sportsmanship award winning season for the U12 Tigers…

The Tigers enjoyed a brilliant season, packed full of nail biting finishes, plucky cup runs, penalty shoot out anguish and no shortage of wins against the odds.

The team suffered only four losses all season, finished as runners up in the league and look forward to testing their mettle in the dizzy heights of the Tandridge league 4th division next season.

Every single member of the team improved through the year and had memorable performances, but as has always been the case with this group of players, first and foremost this is a team which sticks together, plays for each other and for the third time in 5 years took home a league sportsmanship award which says everything about how they go about their business.

A break now, a chance for a Grealish-esque letting off of steam fuelled by Lucozade and sweets, then back to business sweating it off in pre-season down at Holland in August, bring it on.
